Stay tuned for YF Family Events!

We always have opportunities for families to be involved at Youthfront! Here are some of the current family-friendly ways to get involved:

Franklin Center Food Distribution Wednesdays

Through a partnership with Harvesters, Youthfront’s Something to Eat™ food packing program helps distribute fresh produce and perishables along with shelf-stable goods to individuals and families in need. Volunteers gather each month to assist in sorting and distributing the food in the parking lot of the Franklin Center in Kansas City, KS. This is a perfect volunteer opportunity for families. Youthfront’s Grandparent Ministry plays a central role in providing needed volunteer help each month and we encourage families to do volunteer together.

This is a monthly opportunity and if interested in being part of our volunteer team, please opt in to our food distribution volunteer email list HERE.

Packing shelf-stable meals with Something To Eat™

Families, small groups, youth groups, churches and businesses have all made a difference packing meals with YF Neighborhood’s Something to Eat™ meal packing program. They are able to pack nutritious meals together from start to finish in a fun, upbeat atmosphere. Those shelf-stable meals are then distributed to our food pantry partners right here in Kansas City. Volunteering in this way makes a real difference in the lives of our neighbors. You can get more information HERE.
