Presented by Caroline Oas, Youth Director, North Cross United Methodist Church

April 2, 2020 at Youthfront Headquarters, 6:30 pm – 8 pm

4600 Rainbow Blvd, Kansas City, KS 66103

Do you have a teen or pre-teen that struggles with anxiety, sadness or depression? If so, you’ll want to mark your calendar for this upcoming event.

Mental health struggles in adolescents have been on the rise in recent years. While students might post on social media and talk in their schools, there is still a “stigma” within our churches and families when it comes to talking about mental health.

Join us to discuss how to have the hard conversations with your children and respect their stories. We’ll also discuss how to respond if you see signs of serious mental health issues in a teen – what to say, who to call, what steps to follow. You’ll leave with important resources to bring back to your family!
