Faith & Fun

Campers are able to pause, connect and think about how they relate to the world, God and others.
Each day includes a short, age-appropriate Bible story led by our trained staff. Kids explore themes like kindness, courage, and belonging through music, storytelling, and conversation.

Snack Shop

Each afternoon, our famous Snack Shop opens for campers to grab a treat using their Camp Bucks — our cashless system.
Favorites range from ice cream and specialty drinks to candy and healthy snacks. Camp Bucks can be added when you register or anytime in your camper's session.

Nature Adventures

Campers spend time outside to explore and slow down.
With so much of life happening online, it can be hard to disconnect. Nature time encourages campers to slow down and gives them space to observe and explore the outdoors.

Campers build confidence and collaboration with fun, low-pressure games and obstacle activities - no heights, climbing or rope elements.
Kids dive into fun, low-element team games and staff-led challenges that build cooperation and confidence—all with an emphasis on including everyone and trying new things.

New To Youthfront Camp?

Whether you’re brand new to Youthfront or just new to Day Camp, we want your family to feel confident, informed, and excited about camp! Here’s what you can expect before, during, and after your camper’s experience.

Before your session begins, you’ll receive:

  • A digital Welcome Packet with everything you need to know
  • Detailed info on drop-off/pick-up, what to pack, what to leave home
  • Optional add-ons like Camp Bucks, lunch plan, and care packages

*Keep an eye on your inbox for camp prep emails 1–2 weeks before your session.

We use the Youthfront App to help you stay connected during the week. It’s a convenient tool that you can:

  • View daily photos and updates
  • Message camp staff if needed
  • Access your camper’s schedule and session info
  • Receive important announcements

*Only registered parents/guardians have access. It’s secure and easy to use.

We use Camp Bucks instead of cash for on-site purchases at our Snack Shop. You can preload funds during registration or add more anytime through your online camper account. At check-in, all campers will receive a wristband with a barcode associated with their name and online account. If your camper has a balance on their account at the end of the session of camp, you will have the option of either receiving a refund of the balance or donating it to Youthfront’s Camp Ministry.

As a reference on how much to put on a wristband, most campers spend between $10–$25 for the week.

We’ve been curating camp experiences for over 80 years! Heres what sets us apart:

  • A Presence-Centered Approach: We create space for reflection, connection, and growth.
  • A focus on whole-person formation: Body, mind, spirit, and relationship building.
  • Programs designed with age and developmental needs in mind.
  • A generous, well-trained staff culture, rooted in trust and hospitality.

*Spiritual formation opportunities are woven into the session in age-appropriate, welcoming ways — no pressure, just space to explore.

We’re here for parents, too. As part of our larger ministry, Youthfront offers:

  • Family blogs and parenting tools on faith, development, and connection
  • A Family Journal (if in use) to help you engage with what your camper is learning
  • As You Go: An interactive resource that shows families simple, natural ways to bring faith conversations into everyday life with their kids or grandkids. You can choose from a range of experiences from travel to the KC Zoo to gardening, all designed to help nurture faith with our children.
  • Presence-Centered Counseling (PCC): PCC is a Kansas City based psychotherapy practice that grew out of a desire to provide needed therapy and mental health services for youth, adults, couples and families. Lead Counselor, Jamie Roach (LPC) offers a full range of counseling services and is equipped to serve clients of all ages, backgrounds, genders and faiths.

*Check out our YF Family webpage for more information.

We’re happy to help! Whether you’re wondering about meals, packing, camper care, or anything else — just reach out.
