Sort, package and hand out fresh fruits and vegetables to neighbors in need at the Franklin Center in Kansas City, KS, from 1-4 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month (serve for a two-hour block or the entire time).Â
Be a mentor to our local youth as we meet to discuss faith and life together. You’ll assist Youthfront staff in a variety of roles including helping with meal prep, facilitating lessons and games. Volunteers serve on Monday evenings from 6-8 pm.
Serve alongside our Argentine neighbors in a local, community-led project. In these monthly events, you’ll offer hands-on help such as, simple yard projects, painting or basic home repairs. If you have additional skills such as roof repair, plumbing or electrical knowledge/skills, that”s extra helpful. Saturdays from 9 am -2 pm. Families are welcome!
Be a stable presence for youth and assist Youthfront staff at the snack counter at this popular after-school hang-out. Volunteers can serve Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday from 3-5 p.m. or Wednesdays from 1 – 5 p.m.

Our camp gets a LOT of use throughout the year which means, lots of upkeep! From simple things like, landscaping, cleaning and mowing to more intensive and skilled repairs, we welcome every level of experience!Â
Youthfront’s Arise juvenile justice program is the leading ministry in the metro area for youth in juvenile detention centers. Our staff and more than 30 volunteers engage with youth at four detention centers on a weekly basis – much like a youth group – sharing a time of Bible study, snacks and discussion.Â
Teen parents need resources for their children, such as meals, diapers and childcare. We have one-time volunteer opportunities at various locations and are looking for caring adults to serve with us.Â
Being a teen parent is not easy. Each month volunteers serve teen parents at gatherings, community outings and meet-ups throughout the city. Weekly or monthly opportunities are available.Â
