Sort, package and hand out fresh fruits and vegetables to neighbors in need at the Franklin Center in Kansas City, KS, from 1-4 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month. You can serve for a two-hour block or the entire time. All ages!

DAY CAMP FAMILY JOURNAL
Summer '24 found us joining in "The Great Journey" with our Day Campers. Through practical daily blessings, teaching and activities, campers explored the Book of Acts and how God's great love for everyone is meant to be shared. This companion journal gives families the opportunity to build on their camper's experience all while deepening their faith and the bond of family.
The theme for Camp 2024 was "The Great Journey". Campers explored the Book of Acts and how God's great love is an invitation to become part of God's family. Campers learned we belong to God and to each other. This family resource is designed to provide a connection to your camper through the same scriptures, reflection and prayer they experienced at camp and how to use this learning in everyday life.
In the Western Church, Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Easter Sunday. It's a reflection on the life of Jesus, his death and resurrection, and also prepares us for the joy of Easter.
Our hope over the six weeks of Lent, is that by the end, you and your family will have gained meaningful conversations and memories, as well as a deeper understanding of God’s profound love for you.
