Jordan’s Story

I have spent my past 5 summers at Youthfront and these summers hold some of the most amazing memories of my life. My time spent as a camper and also a teen staffer have taught me so much about myself and also about the Lord. Coming into Teen Staff my freshman year, I was so shy and insecure, but slowly the love and the contagious joy of the community at Youthfront began to form me into a more confident and loving person myself. Teen Staff taught me how to step out of my comfort zone and through this camp, I have formed some of the most amazing friendships. The community within Youthfront is something so very special that I have yet to find anywhere else.

I encounter God so much through not only the set aside times of spiritual formations and prayer, but I also see God in so many of the little moments at camp. God shows Himself to me through the joy and excitement of the campers, through the surrounding beauty of nature, through a smile or a conversation, and so much more. God is so very present at Youthfront and I believe it’s near impossible to not encounter Him here.

I feel so incredibly blessed to have been able to be a part of this amazing community here at Youthfront these past 5 years. Youthfront has been a huge part of my growth in my relationship with Christ and, at the same time, it has also been a huge part of my personal growth. I am so thankful for my time spent here so far and though this is my last summer of teen staff, wherever the Lord leads me next will be great because He will be right by my side in this journey of life.
