Hannah’s Story

I camped at Youthfront when I was younger, and I fell in love with it. I Teen Staffed before my sophomore year of high school. It drastically changed the way I looked at and thought about the Lord. I knew that I wanted to come back as a Summer Staffer. Last year, I was a Cabin Leader. I grew so much during that summer. I couldn’t stop thinking about camp during the year! As soon as applications came out, I sent mine in.

The community here at Youthfront is incredible. I have met some of my best friends on staff. It’s amazing getting to see others recklessly pursue God and His will. Living at camp with the staff is by far one of my favorite parts of working at Youthfront. The camp environment is something so unique because you get to constantly be surrounded by incredible influences. The Lord is so present here! I feel so blessed getting the opportunity to be a part of this community and life.

Working on stage as a Sports Supervisor this year has definitely been a transition from cabin leading. I miss my girls, but I have a special opportunity now. Instead of 16 or 17 campers, I have the chance to talk with a few hundred. I have loved talking with campers at the pool or walking on the sidewalk. It has been so awesome to share in their joys and get to know them more. Living among students is such a cool experience that you can’t really find anywhere else. In the future, I want to go into full-time ministry. Youthfront has prepared me and encouraged me in this call.
